Job description


The functionality tester will be in charge of testing the client’s products (video games) on all kinds of platforms (consoles, online games, social networks) by executing test cases. The bugs found will have to be reported in a database and entered in the test suite.


Main responsibilities


·         Test the products by following the test suite;

·         Execute test cases;

·         Report bugs in the database;

·         Follow up on them


Requirements


·         At least one year of experience as a video game tester, a must

·         Written and spoken English skills

·         Experience with console and/or PC game testing

·         Communicates efficiently, works well in a team, demonstrates strong analytical skills

·         Detail oriented

·         Knowledge of bug tracking software such as Jira, Test Track Pro and/or Devtrack, a plus

Position Summary:��

Performs EMC emissions and immunity tests according to world-wide standards; prepares reports on those tests in accordance with requirements; assists Engineers in suppressing EMI and improving immunity performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensures proper implementation of compliance testing performed on Pelco products in accordance with regulatory agency norms and standards.
2. Generates required compliance documents, such as test reports, technical files, work instructions and memos.
3. Keeps current on technology related to EMC and safety compliance testing and design methodology.
4. Maintains lab equipment, including calibration.
5. Adheres to health, fire and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the Director of Human Resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

1. Knowledge of agency compliance standards and norms, such as CE, FCC and UL.
2. Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot electronic circuits to obtain EMC and safety compliance.
3. Ability to travel.
4. Ability to work first or second shift, as workload dictates.
5. Ability to read and write English impeccably.
6. Ability to work in a drug-free work environment and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Desirable:

1. Bachelors degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with testing EMC and/or Safety and/or Environmental.
3. Experience with wireless testing, such as FCC, IC and EU.
4. Minimum two years experience in electronics and/or safety testing.
